Schools to Watch

Schools to Watch
Through its Schools to Watch (STW) program, the Forum has developed criteria for identifying high-performing middle-grades schools, created tools to help schools use the criteria, selected and honored four successful schools across the country, developed on-line tours to highlight the four schools' successes, and expanded the selection program to seven states.

School Reform Models that Focus on Middle Schools
The National Forum counts among its membership developers of seven comprehensive reform models aimed at bringing about whole-school change. These seven CSR models are unique because they focus on the middle grades. This new portion of the National Forum web site focuses on the history, model design, and research findings of AIM at Middle Grades Results, Different Ways of Knowing, Making Middle Grades Work, Making Schools Work, Middle Start, Talent Development Middle School Model, and Turning Points Transforming Middle Schools.
