Research
Findings
Research
and evaluation are at the heart of the development
process for the Success for All Middle School. Program
elements are based on the best available research
and are continually updated as research produces new
findings. We have also contracted for third-party
research with the National Opinion Research Council
(NORC) at the University of Chicago. Our early results
are favorable and indicate significant gains compared
to both state averages and control school achievement
data. In addition, NORC is collecting qualitative
data to understand the impact of our program on school
climate and personnel. This data is informing our
ongoing development efforts and implementation support.
